My name is Cody R. Fairbanks and I'm from a small town in New Jersey. I include the "R." in my name because as a child I had a strong dislike for my middle name, but have grown to embrace it as part of who I am. I am a first generation college graduate with great respects to my father as he played the main role in creating the man I am today. I have a love for all things technology, henceforth I pursued a degree in Computer Science. Many things interest me in this field, from machine learning to cloud computing and cyber security - it is all so... revolutionary!
As an individual I have always been appraised for my determination and leadership, though the credit should go to my desire to see those around me succeed. I love to learn and pave a path for others to be inspired by. I know all good things come with hard work and grit, which is why these are the main aspects I look to bring to any company willing to take me in.

My "Why?"
I am a passionate, hardworking individual that loves to be presented with challenges and new experiences. I gained a formal education (B.S.) Computer Science at Penn State because I have always had a love for technology, but my passion for communication and expression left something to be desired. My ability to be personable and attentive, yet stern and headstrong has landed me in many leadership positions in youth and early adulthood. This all has translated well into the field of Software Sales...so here we are!
Where did this lead me?
I now happily stand as an Associate Sales Engineer for CommVault Systems, delivering in-depth product demos and technical translation, while working to build strong business and customer relationships. We help to provide Data Security & Recovery solutions from low-overhead SaaS formats to Enterprise-tier software environments to ensure client data is both protected and accessible.
